Integration of Data Grids, Digital Libraries, and Persistent Archives Reagan Moore Associate Director San Diego Supercomputer Center The Storage Resource Broker (SRB) provides the fundamental data management mechanisms that are required by data grids, digital libraries, and persistent archives. The SRB is in widespread production use on both national and international projects funded by NSF, NASA, DOE, NIH, and NARA. This briefing will look at the common infrastructure requirements across these projects, discuss specific applications, and present areas where future technology evolution is still needed.
