DSPís do not like not knowing who their customers are.
the conditions have not kept pace with tech devs. Athens allows a lot more protection levels to match different requirements.
Group profile information available to all DSPís eg email address for contact/help
Resource profile for each different resource accessed. Could be (eg):
1) day and time to run searches
2) confidential info required for additional user verification eg motherís maiden name
3) confidential information required for commercial activities. Could be financial code for billing institution or credit/smartcard details etc
