CNI's members include:
Representatives
Each member institution appoints two representatives to CNI, who are invited to attend CNI's semi-annual membership meetings. Higher education institutions are encouraged to appoint their heads of libraries and information technology. Other types of institutions generally appoint top administrators or directors of electronic publishing.
Member representatives can be changed at any time. All members have equal status; for example, there are no separate membership categories for corporate members. A Steering Committee guides the Coalition's activities.
