An update for those following the FCC's actions under Section 706. Late
last week, citing proximity of the initial comment and reply comments
periods in its inquiry (NOI) and rulemaking (NPRM), the FCC revised the
pleading cycles so that NOI comments are now due on September 14, 1998
and reply comments are due on October 8, 1998. NPRM comments and reply
comments are due on September 25, 1998, and October 16, 1998,
