3rd Annual
K-12 School Networking on the Information Superhighway
Sponsored by the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN)
February 26-28, 1998
Renaissance Hotel
Washington, D.C.
The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) will be holding
the third annual "K-12 School Networking on the Information
Superhighway" conference on February 26-28, 1998. We are
soliciting speakers for this important national conference on how
the Internet and the emerging information infrastructure can be
used to improve learning in the K-12 classroom.
The conference topics of this technology conference in 1998
will be:
* E-Rate: Implications of the E-Rate for School Policies &
Procedures
* Professional Development: New Roles & Competencies
* Innovations: Fostering Learning With Technology
* Access: Ensuring Access for All
* Policy: National, State and Local Leadership for School
Networking
We are soliciting ideas for breakout sessions that develop
these themes.
Most breakout sessions are 1-hour and 15 minutes long. CoSN
reserves the right to reorganize presentations and combine similar
presentations into panel discussions.
