The Alliance has been one of those so-called public interest groups
during the past several years build up to the great tele-corporate
rip-off, standing ready to approve just about any deal on the basis
of a primitive morality. It is just such conduct, every-man-for-
himself, which has turned this nation's mass media into a giant
"wasteland."
