HARNESS THE INTERNET
This is an invitation to public and private educators of all kinds to
explore the Internets's incredible potential for learning and teaching.
The Global Village Schools Institute will be conducting a three-day
hands-on Internet workshop at the University of Maryland on Oct. 13-15.
If you're an experienced Internet user, then this will be an opportunity
to commune with educators like yourself. It's also the perfect event to
recommend to a techno-neophyte colleague.
Wrap your mind around the future of learning.
All levels of proficiency are welcome.
The faculty will include:
* Bob Bortnick, Associate Supt., Arlington Heights, District #59, IL
* Hal Gardner, Technology Director, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, NC
* Jim Mecklenburger, Executive Director, Global Village School Institute
Dates: Oct. 13-15
Time: 1pm Friday thru 11:30am Sunday
Location: University of Maryland, College Park (adult education center)
* Maximum of 40 participants due to limited lab space *
