Enhancing Customer Access" co-sponsored by NFAIS and NISO to be held
Sunday, February 24, 2002 in Philadelphia. The half-day program will update
your understanding of the state of the art of reference linking and current
initiatives to offer extended linking services. Featured speakers include
Ed Pentz of Crossref giving an overview of linking issues; Howard Ratner of
Nature will discuss linking from a publisher's perspective; Dale Flecker of
Harvard will address the "appropriate copy problem"; and Miriam Blake of Los
Alamos National Labs demonstrating SFX now being used at Los Alamos to
extend user services.
