It is encouraging to see this effort to enable us to do a better job of
stewarding old stuff that is worth preserving and sharing.
Perhaps someday a similar effort will be undertaken with respect to the
important, new records that we are creating and processing every day,
e.g., legislative, regulatory, and budgetary policy documents. If so,
it will certainly become easier to steward such information as it ages.
