Subject: Reminder of 10/17/96 Meeting of OIW GILS Subgroup -- ATTENDANCE ENCOURAGED
REMINDER:
The next meeting of the Open Systems Environment Implementors' Workshop,
Special Interest Group on GILS is scheduled for:
Thursday, October 17, 1996 from 10:00am to noon
in Room C110 (Concourse level)
at the
U.S. Department of the Treasury
1425 New York Avenue, NW
Washington, DC
The main topic for this meeting will be the project to evaluate the U.S.
Federal GILS, commissioned by the GILS Board. Members of the evaluation
team will be present to discuss Web usage statistics, log files, and
approaches for quantifying GILS usage and gauging customer satisfaction.
ATTENDANCE IS ENCOURAGED, in particular, from all U.S. Federal government
executive branch agencies and departments.
The Treasury building is two blocks south of the McPherson Square Metro
station (blue/orange lines) at the corner of 14th Street and New York
Avenue. Identification is required for entry. The conference room is
reserved beginning at 9:00am for those who may wish to meet in advance.
Meetings of the GILS Subgroup are open to anyone: public and private
agencies, organizations, associations, or enterprises, whether profit,
non-profit, or academic; government at Federal, state, and local levels,
whether U.S., international or other nations; and any other interested
parties.
