Thanks for the summary as it crystalizes many of our discussions. Some
comments:

There were also a number of e-mails exchanged regarding the definition
and structure of Controlled Subject Index and the definition of Subject
Thesaurus and Controlled Term. I think there is still a concern about
making Controlled Term a subelement of Subject Thesaurus. I will
telephone you to discuss this further.

Great. Also, reverse the order of Linkage and Linkage Type which now
comes first.

In an earlier e-mail I suggested a number of minor changes to align Cross
Reference Linkage with Available Linkage. Will you be incorprating the
following:

1. Revised definition for Cross Reference Linkage:

Cross Reference Linkage (Repeatable): This subelement is a grouping of
subelements that together provide information needed to access the cross
referenced object. It is composed of the subordinate elements Linkage
Type and Linkage. Cross Reference Linkage is repeated for each new
 instance of Linkage Type.

2. Change Cross Reference Linkage Type to Linkage Type. NO change to
definition.

3. Add subordinate element Linkage after Linkage Type.

4. Revise the definition of Linkage: This subelement provides the machine
readable information needed to perform this access.

This is such a condensed summary of the change I'm not sure I've
understood it. Is this what was agreed to:

Time Period (Repeatable)
    Time Period Structured (Repeatable)
           Start Date
           End Date
     Time Period Textual (Repeatable)
            Start Date
             End Date

The same structure would apply to Available Time Period, correct?

All this looks good to me. I haven't found anything else missing. Please
let me know if the suggestions I have made are acceptable.

Thanks again Eliot.
