To All List-Serve Members........

This is to follow-up the message from NouSoft in relation to Course Reserves 
software.

As stated in the NouSoft message, Contec North America and NouSoft terminated 
their relationship last Fall.  Contec NA has also had to respond to questions 
from librarians regarding the development of our C3 Course Reserves software.  
Although we have retained the C3 name for our Course Reserves package it is an 
entirely new, third generation product.  Contec NA decided to abandon the 
NouSoft technology in favour of a technology that we believe provides more 
flexible hardware and OS options.

Contec NA will be represented at the ACRL E-Reserves Meeting on Sunday morning 
when a more detailed outline of the new C3 product will be provided.

In addition, Contec NA will be exhibiting at ALA at Booth 1747.  Information 
will be available from Contec NA staff regarding both the C3 product and our 
Charter Client Program.  If you are not attending ALA please contact us 
directly.
